It’s here, you’ve all been waiting so patiently, but finally we are publishing the June to September workshop schedule. “Woohoo!” I hear you cry!
We’ve got some fabulous new courses for you, as well as lots of your favourites that have become so popular over the last year.
There are a couple of breaks in the schedule to allow for some well earned summer holidays, and we’ve also made space to be able to run children’s workshops. If you haven’t completed our survey yet, now is the time to do so at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/F97BHNZ
Anyway, let’s get to the knitty gritty….what’s new??
We’ve got FOUR new sewing workshops! If you’ve been on our popular Introduction to Patchwork & Quilting workshop, then you’ll love Next Steps patchwork, taking you beyond simple squares. There’s also a Log Cabin Cushion workshop, and a Table Service workshop, perfect to add a handmade touch to your home. We’re also introducing a Messenger Bag workshop. It’s a fabulous bag, with an adjustable strap and an internal zipped pocket!
Our beginner’s knitting has been revamped and is now a longer workshop so that we can teach you more of the basics! On Knitting Know How You’ll make a little flower, which could be used as a brooch or hair accessory. We’ve also fully introduced our intermediate knitting workshop – Next Step Knitting, perfect for taking your knitting to the next step after our beginner’s knitting workshop.
We’re also introducing a fabulous new workshop Stitched Art. Using a mixture of hand & machine embroidery, embellishing and appliqué, you can create your own masterpiece. As long as you’re happy with using a sewing machine, this mixed media workshop will have you drawing with stitch in no time!
The full schedule will be published on the website and online store today, with details of the courses, materials and dates and times. As always, workshops can be booked by calling us on 0121 314 6888, or you can book online at http://stitchsolihull.tictail.com
We are unable to take bookings via Facebook, twitter, or comments on the blog or website.
We look forward to seeing you on a workshop soon!
