Our first three prints are for the animal lovers among you – chickens, sheep and a fun farm scene. I think the sheep fabric would be perfect for a knitting project bag. Why not learn to make your own in our bag making course? Details and dates are available here.

There’s one more animal print to tempt you, colourful discs with faces of all your farm animal favourites.

The other prints in the range feature trees and tractors with an abstract squares design to tie them all together. All these prints are available by the metre at £12/m or by the fat quarter at £3 each. There is also a 60cm panel with the letters of the alphabet and a coordinating summery image. The panel retails at £7.50 or we have a bundle with one of each of the seven fat quarters and a panel for £28.50.

The panel would be the perfect centre piece for a baby quilt. For a really simple design, just border it with strips from one of the other fabrics. If you’re feeling a bit more ambitious, Makower have designed a fab checkerboard quilt. The pattern is available to download for free from the Makower website.

You could make one too, all you need for the quilt top is a Jolly Farm fabric bundle and 1.75m of solid fabric. We’d love to see what you make with Jolly Farm, share your photos on our Facebook page.
