New Season, New Look

Spring has arrived at the Garden Centre, I am treated to a glorious display of bulbs on my way into work every morning; a rainbow of inspirational colour. To coincide with this seasonal change, we have had a major revamp of our in store layout to allow for a wider range of stock.Ana revamp 008

The sofas have been moved in to the middle of the shop to make room for a new wall of yarn. This contains all the yarn we stock from lace to chunky all arranged in weight order with fibre at the end to entice all you spinners.Ana revamp 009

The view through the shop has been opened up making the place feel lighter and more spacious. The sofas are perfect for sitting to browse our extended range of patterns and will be put to good use during our regular Stitch and Sip sessions.

You can just see our new range of beads hanging from the central pillar. I’ve tested all of these with a 0.5mm crochet hook to ensure they are perfect for adding to your knitting. There are size 6 and 8 seed beads as well as some ultra sparkly crystal. If you’ve never added beads to your work before, why not ask us for advice on beginner friendly patterns?

The reshuffle has allowed us to more than double our range of buttons. IMG_0079
Prices start from just 20p so these make the perfect finishing touch to a handmade garment or an affordable alteration to a shop bought one. There are also many that are suitable for the card makers among you, just add your own twist of creativity!

To tie in with the new look we have lots of exciting events and opportunities coming up to tempt you over the next few months so watch this space!
